2010-11-06 187 vs Mercedes Martinez @ WSU?

The "Notorious' 187 is spreading a reign of terror in the indies. He went to CZW and beat Sami Callihan, now he turns his attention to Mercedes Martinez? I am not a fan of domestic violence, but I really am at a loss on who to root for here. Should I root for "187", or should I root for the hard hitting Martinez? If "187" goes in there and beats Martinez like he would anyone else, he would get MASSIVE heel heat. If he lets Martinez run roughshod over him, he will never be able to live it down. This is the only time where the "fingerpoke of doom" would work well here. I don't know who booked this match, but if it was me doing the booking I would have Homicide hand pick someone to be the "femaile" version of himself. If Mercedes gets through Homicide's protege, she gets "five minutes alone" with the "187." This is one match that a dainty "Diva" or a frail "Knockout" couldn't get through. Mercedes is LEGIT tough, but will her toughness be enough to overcome the "187". Only one way for you to find out....be there or get the i-ppv!

Long Time No Blog-What Is The Best Wrestling Angle of the Modern Age

First off I got a follower-I am just as shocked as you all are. I hope I can live up to your expectations. Anyhoo my question to you all is this. What is the greatest wrestling angle of the modera age? By modern age, I mean "1995-Present"  My choices:

2. Montreal "screwjob"*
3. Austin vs. McMahon*
4. Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer*
5. CZW vs ROH
6. Kingston vs Hero
7. Nexux>>>Daniel Bryan gets fired from WWE>>>Daniel Bryan returns

The first four angles have been done and redone ad-nauseum. Hell TNA has been spewing some form of the first four angles for YEARS. In conclusion the best angle of the modern age, is an angle that can hook fans, sell tickets, and spike PPV buys. Guess which one of the two American promotions isn't paying attention.....

Evolve 6-Chuck Taylor vs. Austin Aries

It seems that EVOLVE is the only promotion I follow these days. I would like to thank the lousy economy, and the wasteland known as Palm Beach county for this. If any organization books a show here, they better book BEFORE the early bird specials. All joking aside, EVOLVE always gives fans a reason to keep coming back. Evolve 6 has a new match signed and its one I am looking forward to. Chuck Taylor (yeah he still gets under my skin) against "A-Double" Austin Aries. Taylor had his ego deflated by tasting defeat at the hands of "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush. Can he come back from that? If he does pull off the upset then what? Evolve 6 will be held at the ACE ARENA in Union City, NJ on 11/20/2010.

Evolve has stated that this show will be the last show of 2010. With 6 shows under its belt, what will be in store for them in 2011. Will they crown a champion? Will they expand their tag team division? Only time will tell. Will I ever be able to attend an EVOLVE show? Stay tuned, and keep supporting your local indies.
