Kharma's Exit Speech-WTF?

Inspired By This
Ironically, she used an old story about Jim Ross to turn herself babyface and kill a lot of goodwill Jim Ross has created with the WWE Universe for almost two decades.

I saw the same "promo" that you all did. For someone who came in with as much force and momentum as Kharma did, the exit speech left me wondering. Why pull the rug out from under her? I am gonna have a hard time suspending belief and seeing her as a  MONSTER HEEL. Unless of course this leads to something else, which I doubt. Also the Bella Twins should be ashamed of themselves for their tasteless comments.

I did not tweet my disdain for Jim Ross, because I don't have any. The guy has been in the business longer than I have been alive. He knows what makes or breaks a wrestler......scuze me WWE Superstar..

***EDIT***
Thomas Holzerman Someone who's going out for a year doesn't need momentum.....You relaunch her in a year by having her destroy the Bella Twins. Simple. Effective.

The only way that this can happen logically is if they (WWE) keep tabs on Kharma. and if the Bella Twins continue their tasteless comments towards her, or if  some of the divas join the "make fun of Kharma" bandwagon.  Every month have the comments get worse and worse. Kharma can't touch those two skanks because of her high risk pregnancy. Hell even celebrate the birth of the baby, by having Superstars congratulate her, have Vince and JR send bouquets of flowers to the hospital. That way JR isn't seen as a jerk. The final straw is to have the Bella Twins send a bouquet too. Only with negative comments on the card. Kharma sees that, and its the last straw, she doesn't even repeat the comments beacuse they are THAT hurtful. She basically has another meltdown and turns into her old DIVA beating self!

The Aftermath of "Style Battle" my first EVOLVE critcism. (sort of)

I have been supporting EVOLVE in my blog since its inception. I gotta say that its cards were getting better and better with each show. Style Battle was a great concept. I just don't like the outcome.
RICH SWANN
If you're gonna make a big deal, about a guy not being in the tourney, and then have a voting campaign to get him in, at least get him to the finals against AR Fox since you're promoting the rematch from the last card. If you still want to put AR Fox over have Rich Swann lose (gracefully) in the finals of the match.
BOBBY FISH
Why does this guy keep losing? Chasing that elusive victory, was a great story line, if Fish won the tourney it would of been a shot at redemption for him. (if he hadn't won his match at EVOLVE 6, but then again look who Bobby beat....)
SAMI CALLIHAN
He makes it to the finals and he LOSES, but then again look what he and ARIK CANNON are doing in DGUSA......

There are many reasons as to why things happen the way they do. I'm not inside the EVOLVE offices, I'm just a fan, hopefully things will be explained and elaborated upon on the next card.

Tribute To The Macho Man

Announcement
One of my childhood heroes has passed on.

Randy Savage was one of a kind, while everyone and their mama was cheering for Hulk Hogan, I was cheering for Randy Savage to retain his title at Wrestlemania V. Of course we know how that ended.

Wrestlemania III was all about Andre vs Hogan, but Steamboat and Savage stole the show. It doesn't matter what he did, you cheered him.

When he dropped a bell on the throat of Ricky Steamboat, people winced, I was in disbelief. Track down the backstage video of him asking Bruno about Steamboat's condition, after the fact. What a heel!

He had a career long before he entered the WWF, but I will always remember him during his WWF years. Even when he went to WCW and re-ignited his feud with Hulk Hogan, while everyone was pushing for Hulk to win, I was pushing for Savage. They don't make em like that anymore.

In these days of internet immediacy, the era of Randy Savage will never be forgotten. He had a presence about him, you knew who he was, and why he was there. He was there to wrestle and put on a show. You couldn't script a guy like Randy Savage. He was a loose cannon, before loose cannon became a catch phrase.

You can't fake that kind of intensity. How would it look to someone like Savage, if a TV writer handed him a promo. Savage would probably drag them into the ring and beat the tar out of them......and he would make it so real even smart marks would be fooled. Because smart marks think they know everything.

What I know is that one of my heroes is gone.......but not forgotten.

Interview with Dimitrios "Greek God" Papadon

Who-DIMITRIOS PAPADON
From-Corinthos, Greece
Finisher-Shining Wizard

Dimitrios Papadon wrestles for New York Wrestling Connection and he took a few minutes of his time to talk to a lowly blogger like me

1. How long have you been a pro wrestling fan?-All my life I have been a fan and still am.

2. When did you get your start?-After I graduated college I went to the LIWF in NY aka The Doghouse where I was trained by Homicide. I had my first match one month after I started training and within 6 months Homicide and was fueding in the min events. We had a great feud & a historical ladder match. I later continued my training after the Doghouse closed at the NYWC Academy where Mikey Whipwreck took me under his wing. I currently still train at NYWC every week.

2a. Give us an example of "paying dues" during training or out on the road. -Paying your dues means learning your trade by showing respect to those who paved the way before you. An example is doing what you are told by the bookers and veterans, keeping your mouth shut & ears open, & always having respect for your opponent, the match, & the company you are working for.

3. Who were some of your influences in developing your style?- Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Curt Hennig, William Regal, Ric Flair, and so many others. I take a little bit from everyone and from everywhere.

4. Do you think the term "wrestling" is a dirty word?-Wrestling is NOT a dirty word at all. A rose by any other name still smells the same. But there is a difference b/ween  Pro-Wrestling & Sports Entertainment.

4a. Are titles "props" or should they mean something?- Belts do have meaning. Even though wrestling is a hybrid of sports and entertainment. The belts definitely have meaning. The promoter who awards you his championship to a specific wrestler means that he or she believes in that wrestler in carrying their company and represent it to the world. To win a championship is an honor.

5. Where will you be wrestling next?-I will be wrestling next for NWA Doghouse/, DXW ON 5/20, & for NYWC on 5/21

6. Tell us a little about NYWC:
The NYWC Academy is the best place to learn how to wrestle and I recommend anyone who is interested in wanting to be a wrestler or wants to better his or her craft to go to the NYWC Academy. Such wrestlers as Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Trent Baretta, Matt Striker, Mike Mondo(aka Mikey from the spirit squad)came from the school. Also Darren Young is a NYWC alumnist. So go www.nywcwrestling.com for details on training and shows.

My thanks go to GGP for taking time out to do this

Fantasy Booking Sheet-D.U.F's vs A List

Are you a D.U.F.?
That's what Sami Callihan and Arik Cannon have been asking fans via Yoo Toob video.

On one side you have the great unwashed masses represented by D.U.F.'s the outcasts, the one's that don't subscribe to the status quo, the one's that are different, the one's with go funny eyes, no self control....the list goes on.

On the other side you have the velvet ropers, the one's that belong to the exclusive clubs, the one's that control what goes on in the champagne room, led by Larry "Comp Me" Dallas. Christ the match writes it self.
